Welcome to Static.run, a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) provider for hosting static websites and applications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our services.
1. Definitions
- "Static.run," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Static.run, the service provider.
- "You," "user," or "customer" refers to any individual or entity using our services.
- "Content" refers to any files, data, websites, or applications uploaded, hosted, or managed through Static.run.
2. Use of Services
Static.run provides hosting services for static websites and applications. You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into this agreement.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may not use our services to engage in illegal activities, including but not limited to distributing malware, phishing, spamming, or violating intellectual property rights.
3. User Content and Responsibilities
You retain full ownership of any content you upload or host on Static.run. However, you grant Static.run a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
- Liability: You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including its legality, accuracy, and appropriateness. Static.run assumes no liability for user content.
- Prohibited Content: You may not upload or host content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, promotes violence, or violates third-party rights.
- Backups: You are responsible for maintaining backups of your content. Static.run is not liable for any loss of data.
4. Rights to Remove Content and Terminate Accounts
Static.run reserves the absolute right, at our sole discretion, to remove any content, suspend, or terminate accounts, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
- Content deemed harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.
- Excessive resource usage, security risks, or abuse of services.
- Requests from law enforcement or other legal authorities.
- Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
Static.run is not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from content removal, account suspension, or termination. You acknowledge that all rights and liabilities related to your content remain your responsibility.
5. Intellectual Property
You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Static.run respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
- DMCA Notices: If you believe your copyrighted material has been infringed, please send a DMCA notice to legal@static.run with the required details.
- Counter-Notices: If your content is removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notice as per DMCA procedures.
- Static.run’s IP: All Static.run trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property. You may not use them without prior written consent.
6. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Static.run collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.

7. Service Availability and Limitations
Static.run strives to provide reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Downtime: We are not liable for service interruptions due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., DDoS attacks, hardware failures).
- Resource Limits: Free and paid plans may have usage limits (e.g., bandwidth, storage, build minutes). Exceeding these limits may result in additional charges, service restrictions, or account suspension.
- Third-Party Services: Static.run may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., domain registrars, CDNs). We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or policies of these services.
8. Payment and Billing
Paid plans are subject to the pricing and billing terms outlined on our website. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize charges for applicable fees.
- Refunds: Refunds are issued at our discretion, subject to our refund policy.
- Price Changes: We may modify pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated pricing.
- Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes related to your use of our services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Static.run, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use our services.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content.
- Content removal, account suspension, or termination.
- Errors, delays, or interruptions in service.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Static.run in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Static.run, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Your use of our services.
- Your content or its violation of any laws or third-party rights.
- Your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on our website. Static.run may terminate or suspend your account as outlined in Section 4. Upon termination:
- Your access to our services will cease.
- We may delete your content without liability.
- Any outstanding fees remain payable.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms,_together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Static.run.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
- Force Majeure: Static.run is not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, cyberattacks).
